Trey Fleming founded iSPAI in 2024 and is the architect behind the company vision. He has nearly 30 years of experience working in technology consulting, systems integration, outsourcing, research, and advisory services. He's worked with a variety of companies throughout his career with an industry focus on Oil and Gas, Energy, and Utilities. Most recently Trey was the Chief Revenue Officer for a 40-year-old information management company based in Houston, Texas. Trey is a certified expert in NFTs (via the Blockchain Council) and began his career in politics and government. He has worked for a US Presidential candidate, a US Senator, a Texas Governor, and a US Congressional candidate, as well as running for the Texas House of Representatives in 2008. Trey splits time between Texas and Colorado.
Corey Vickers, CSCP, ACC, CPC, ELI-MP is a Cofounder of iSPAI. He serves full time as a Senior Logistics Strategist for ExxonMobil. In addition, Corey hosts the podcast Reveille with the Veterans in Business Network. His career includes leadership roles in several major corporations, as well as serving as a Logistics Officer in the United States Air Force and adjunct professor at the University of Houston. Holding a master’s degree in Logistics Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the United States Air Force Academy, his expertise spans supply chain strategy design, digital enablement, process re-engineering, logistics management, and various operational domains.
As Chief Creator, Corey will advise on the development of iSPAI’s Creation-to-Consumption Platform in coordination with iSPAI's Chief Consumer.
Bryan Ellis is the Chief Technology Officer for iSPAI. He brings over 25 years of experience including a decade as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager, currently at PayPal, where he leads teams in developing next-generation web applications for over 250 million users. With expertise in front-end development, large-scale web architecture, and UX innovation, Bryan has driven major technical initiatives at startup companies like Dosh and ZeroChaos. He holds a deep mastery of JavaScript frameworks, full-stack engineering, and rapid prototyping.
As CTO of iSPAI, Bryan will guide the technical strategy, ensuring scalable and innovative AI-driven solutions. His leadership will shape the platform’s architecture, enabling the seamless integration of AI and empowering users across industries to solve complex problems.
Jess Simm is a brand and marketing expert and will serve as the Chief Marketing Officer for iSPAI. With over 13 years of experience in the biotech and industrial AI industries, she is a brand futurist and marketing utility knife. Jess is the founder of Simmetry Brand Studio and excels in bridging the gap between highly technical individuals and creative minds through her unique blend of creative problem-solving and practical analysis. Based in California and Australia, and originally from New Zealand, Jess has worked with large enterprises and startups alike, including Beyond Limits AI, where she was employee number 7. Her experience also includes roles at Diversify the Stage, Datch AI, SIVA Enterprises, and Genentech. Jess holds a BBA in Information Technology from Kingston International College in Australia. As the Chief Marketing Officer for iSPAI, Jess will help define, own, and manage the brand of iSPAI whilst ensuring we build communities around the intersection of AI-enabled Consumers and Creators worldwide.
Shaan Ray is the lead for all things related to the use of blockchain-enabled decentralization at iSPAI. Shaan is also the Executive Director of Lansaar Research, is a futurist and a technologist, a seasoned researcher and serial entrepreneur. His business experience and intellectual leadership span blockchain, DeFi, smart contracts, digital currencies, NFTs, artificial intelligence, virtual economies, supply chain, smart agriculture, drones, and robotics. Shaan brings a wealth of knowledge in blockchain technology, decentralized systems, and innovative digital solutions. His international work, spanning over 45 countries, equips him with a unique perspective on diverse markets and industries. His expertise in Web3 technologies positions him as a key contributor to iSPAI’s vision of empowering the workforce to own their knowledge. As the Head of Decentralization Shaan will lead all things related to iSPAI's use of blockchain enablement (Web3) including our tokenization strategy, the structure of iSPAI DAO, smart contracts, Web3 development, partner alignment, and community building.
Karen Watson is the Chief Consumer at iSPAI, with over 20 years of experience in management consulting, specializing in business consulting, strategic sourcing, change management, and IT consulting. She will work closely with iSPAI's Chief Creator to ensure a frictionless iSPAI flywheel that engages and enables Consumers and Creators alike. Known for driving operational efficiency and transformational change, she has delivered results through the use of advanced technologies. Karen Watson has driven business strategy and cost-reduction efforts saving $100 million for Fortune 500 clients while promoting diversity in tech. She has led strategic sourcing initiatives influencing fuel standards legislation and delivering major cost savings. Karen is a leader in digital transformation, strategic planning, and inclusive leadership, aligning with iSPAI’s mission to democratize knowledge and empower the workforce. As the Chief Consumer Karen will focus on the strategic sourcing of knowledge and wisdom for GenAI by enterprise consumers.
Miguel Escobedo is the Chief Product Officer at iSPAI, bringing over 17 years of expertise in product design, strategy, and leadership. A proven innovator, Miguel has consistently driven meaningful customer-centered product development, achieving impressive gains in acquisition, retention, and adoption metrics across his career. He has built and led cross-functional teams of 3 to 30+, delivering results in e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, and omnichannel platforms.
Prior to iSPAI, Miguel held leadership roles such as Director of User Experience & Research at ActBlue and Director of Product Design at WP Engine, where he scaled design teams, launched transformative design systems, and aligned product strategies with customer needs. At USAA and PayPal, he spearheaded data-driven and user-focused initiatives, including the design of omnichannel onboarding systems, scalable design systems, and groundbreaking products like PayPal Working Capital and Venmo mobile payments.
Miguel’s expertise spans product strategy, UX research, design systems, and cross-functional leadership, with a track record of creating solutions that combine innovative design with practical execution. His ability to bridge technical, creative, and strategic perspectives makes him a vital contributor to iSPAI’s mission to democratize knowledge and deliver scalable, impactful products.
Jim Lawnin leads the finance function for iSPAI while also Chairing the Board of Advisors. He brings over two decades of expertise in finance and business growth, specializing in emerging technologies. As co-founder of Sustainable Ventures Group, he guided corporations in deploying innovative technologies. His role as an Angel investor and board member for the Houston Angel Network highlights his understanding of early-stage investment. Jim has built two consulting firms to over $250 million in revenue, showcasing his ability to drive significant growth. His academic credentials include an MBA, an MSc in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, and dual undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Engineering. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and former CPA with over 18 years at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, Jim's financial strategy and management skills are exceptional. He has also judged business plan competitions at Rice and Stanford Universities and spoken on innovation at Harvard, underscoring his commitment to fostering startup success.
Dr. Yannis Kalfoglou brings over three decades of expertise in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and technology innovation to iSPAI. He has held AI leadership and AI strategy advisory roles at large multinationals companies like Ricoh, Invesco, Samsung, BP and Dell, where he drove AI strategy and led blockchain implementations across industries such as capital markets, oil & gas, and consumer electronics. Yannis holds a PhD and post-doc in AI and was an early pioneer in semantic web and ontology mapping. As a trusted advisor, he provides strategic guidance on AI development, blockchain integration, and innovation management. He has worked closely with venture capital firms, government bodies, and enterprise clients, helping them align emerging technologies with business outcomes. In 2021 Yannis wrote Blockchain for Business intended for the business audience technologist. In addition, Yannis has delivered over 80 presentations worldwide on advanced technology, positioning him as a thought leader in the fields of AI and blockchain. Through his advisory role at iSPAI, Yannis will provide guidance and work closely with our team on all aspects of the iSPAI platform.
Chris Clayton supports all commercial, product, and market development areas for iSPAI. In addition, Chris is a Partner at Gryphon Citadel in Philadelphia, where he is pivotal in supporting the delivery, development, and growth of the firm and its Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics practice. His versatility and innovative approaches have consistently driven business growth and technological advancements for clients in across the globe. Prior to Gryphon Citadel, Chris was with Beyond Limits where he developed an AI-driven decision support system for British Petroleum (BP), leading to BP's investment in the company and its expansion from 5 to over 300 employees. Prior to Beyond Limits, Chris has held key leadership roles at ColdLight and at Electronic Ink, and his technology career began at Acappella Software. Chris’ experience spans business process automation, artificial intelligence, and strategic business growth.
Mike Mosher supports iSPAI's requirements for Security and Risk Management within the platform. Mike comes to us with over 25 years of experience as a senior technology executive and cybersecurity leader. His diverse background, combining military training with top-tier consulting, has allowed him to drive results across sectors like technology, e-commerce, financial services, energy, and telecommunications. As President of Northwoods Global LLC, Mike advises on technology and cybersecurity strategy. He has served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Rover.com and OpenMarket, where he led security, privacy, and compliance efforts, focusing on enterprise data protection and regulatory compliance. His leadership has consistently transformed security programs into strategic business assets. Mike’s previous roles include leading cybersecurity for PwC in the Pacific Northwest and managing a $100M+ security capital program at T-Mobile. His expertise in cybersecurity, cloud security, and risk management positions him as a key player in supporting iSPAI’s mission to democratize knowledge with secure, scalable innovation.
Morgan Eldred is a startup founder and expert in many topics of importance to iSPAI, like Information Management, Law, and Technology. With over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and information management, Morgan has led strategic initiatives across the energy, technology, and telecommunications sectors. As the founder and lead Partner of Digital Energy in Dubai, he has delivered innovative digital strategies, while his leadership roles at Gartner and Maersk Oil focused on guiding industry leaders and transforming information systems for business efficiency.
Morgan's educational background is equally impressive, with a PhD in Computing and an MSc in Strategic Business IT from the University of Portsmouth, an LLM in Information Technology Law from The University of Edinburgh, and an International Executive MBA from IE Business School. He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University. Pete Dumont is the Industry Advisor for Construction and Capital Projects at iSPAI, bringing over 30 years of leadership in capital project execution and digital transformation. As President of Threecore, he leads high-impact teams in commercial construction, while as CEO of PrairieDog, he drives AI and blockchain innovations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and waste reduction in capital projects. Previously, as President and CEO of AG&P Americas, Pete led a 10x revenue expansion through strategic project execution and operational excellence.
A licensed professional engineer and Vice Chair of the CURT Board of Directors, Pete is a recognized thought leader in modularization, lean practices, and emerging technologies. Pete is a visionary leader and an enthusiast for all things AI, Blockchain and Web3.
